On Wednesday St Ursula’s took a year 3 team and a year 4 team for a fixture against Badminton School. For many of the children it was their first competitive match and there was lots of excitement amongst the girls as we made the short walk over the road. The girls played brilliantly as we looked to move the ball quickly from defence to attack so that the shooters could receive the ball in space. The year 3s won their game 11-1, Mia B scored 5, Izzy H x4 and Tara x2 with the goals. The year 4s went one better and won their game 12-1, Clodagh x2, Poppy x3, Natalia x4, Isla x1 and Sophia x2 the scorers. The girls played brilliantly and it is exciting for the school that we have such a talented group of players coming through.
