2017 Summer School Games KS2 Gymnastics Competition Report

 

St Ursula’s Years 3, 4 & 5 entered 2 teams of Gymnasts to participate their first Gymnastics Competition held at St Bede’s Sports Complex as part of the 2017 Summer School Games.

There was a really good standard of performances from all the gymnasts involved who had to learn and perform a floor routine consisting of 10 skills and execute 2 vaults for a best score. St Ursula’s was just 1 of 11 schools taking part from North Bristol.

The Results - An excellent first appearance at this competition resulted in Year 3 & 4 team taking home a Bronze medal  and the Year 5 team achieving a very respectable 5th place.

A big thank you to all the family members that were present on the day to show their support and a huge WELL DONE to all the Gymnasts who competed on the day, Emily A, Cleo F, George G, Bella B, Zoe P, Ruby N, Tilly W, Izzy H, Maya B and Alexa W.  We're looking forward to developing you through the year to get ready for the next one!
