Soft Ball Cricket Development Squad for Years 1 & 2

Shine Cubs cricket development squad provides an exciting opportunity for children of all abilities aged Year 1 and Year 2 to develop their cricket skills and knowledge in a supportive and inclusive environment with qualified experienced coaches.
Please note that the squad places are limited.

Your fee covers all sessions from 10th January - 03rd April 2020, except 21st February when there is no session for Half Term.

Open to children from any school
Essential kit:
  • Footwear and clothing that are appropriate for the chosen activity. 
  • Traditional cricket 'whites' (recommended, but not essential) 
  • Water bottle
  • Children are welcome to bring their own cricket equipment but please ensure you remember to take it with you at the end of the session!

  • Shine’s professional coaching team are qualified, DBS checked and fully insured.
  • This activity is available to children from any school, providing they are of the correct age group.
  • No session Friday 21st February for Half Term.
Additional Details

Shine Cubs cricket development squad season runs in Terms 3 & 4 from January 10th until 03rd April, with sessions taking place on Friday evenings at Shine Community Sports Hall, Brecon Road, Henleaze, BS9 4DT

The 12 week coaching programme will involve a combination of match situations, skills drills and cricket themed exercises with an emphasis on healthy fun. Please note that Shine Cubs cricket development squad is Soft Ball cricket.
