Shine Sports Days are one of the BEST things in the school year, so come and enjoy them during the holiday too!
All your children's favourite athletic events and fun races will be featured during an action packed fun day. All comers will get an opportunity the try running, jumping and throwing disciplines whilst competing against children of a similar age from schools across Bristol. In addition, to the traditional sports day favourites such as Tug-o-War, sack race and Egg & Spoon, the boys and girls will have the chance to compete in a variety of running and throwing disciplines such as 100 metres, hurdles, javelin and discus as well as different long distant running events.
To celebrate those individuals who have excelled at these events, Shine have created a records board to honour the top performers which can be viewed on the Holiday Club Information Tab.

Activity Details
A typical Shine Sports Day starts with some sports related ice breakers and fun warm up games to get the children ready for their day. The core programme will involve practicing team events in the morning, followed by individual events after break and then the full sports day after lunch. Please be assured that our sports days are inclusive to everyone, so if your child is new to athletics then our experienced team of coaches will give them expert advice on what to do. Equally, for those children who want to push themselves we give them the chance to set special 'Shine Records' which may stand for years to come! With anticipated sunshine, music pumping and a great atmosphere generated by the enthusiastic children and coaches, this is the perfect activity to try this summer.
They will take part in various team games which will improve their co-ordination and basic ball skills as well as being lots of fun.

- Places are limited and bookings are made on a first come/first served basis.
- Shine’s professional coaching team are qualified, DBS checked and fully insured.
- Your child/children must be signed out at the end of every day.
- Shine Holiday Club's presentation ceremony takes place from 15:50-16:00 every day. A 'Star of the Day' award will presented, in each different holiday club activity, to a child or children who has excelled during the day.
