Cookery Workshop(Ages 8 to 11)

Calling all budding chefs! At this holiday club children will get the opportunity to cook a variety of sweet and savoury dishes from scratch all whilst improving their practical cookery skills. These workshops will allow them to improve their knowledge of kitchen safety, food hygiene and healthy food. Our menus will be vegetarian and all ingredients and equipment will be provided although we do ask that your child brings containers to to transport their creations home in please.

Thurs 30th July - French Week: Gruyere Gougeres (Cheese Puffs), Ratatouille and Mini Madeleines

Tues 4th August - Festival Food Fiesta: Nachos, Halloumi Fiesta Burger and Cinnamon Churros with Chocolate Dip

Thurs 13th August - Summer Classics: Mediterranean Stuffed Peppers, Veggie Quiche Lorraine, Lemon Drizzle Tray Bake

Tues 18th August - Greek Week: Greek Salad, Veggie Moussaka and Revani Cake

Thurs 27th August - Little Italy: Bruschetta Trio, Homemade Pizzas and Panna Cotta with Summer Berries

Tues 1st August - Summer Tea Party: Tomato & Basil Tartlets, Lemon and Herb Orzo Salad and Mini Victoria Sponge Cakes

Children from any school are welcome to join us on this activity.

You can book your child to stay on at Shine until 5.55pm if you need extended childcare. We have 2 options:

• Late Pick Up until 4:45pm - Add on Late Pick Up when you book. Snacks are not provided but children are welcome to eat any snacks they have with them.
• Snack & Chill from 4:45pm until 5:55pm - Add on Late Pick Up AND Snack & Chill when you book. Snacks are provided in this session. This will generally be a quieter time for children after their long holiday club day.
