After a long battle with COVID and social interaction restrictions, we finally had our 1st friendly basketball game on Friday 1st April 2022 against St. John's basketball squad and hope to turn it into a regular occurrence. 

The game was very competitive from the very beginning, with either team not being able to build a large lead. The teamwork and communication from both teams was commendable.

At half time Sharks had a small lead of 10-7.

After half time Sharks really came together and pulled away, not allowing a single point in the second half for St. John's.

Final Score: Shine Sharks 21 - St. John's 7

Top performers: Extremely proud of everyone involved, but I'll highlight those that stood out; Aidan, Ben, Kayvaan, Issac and Wilf.

And a big thank you to Shine Coaches Deimantas, Felix, Jamie and anyone else who helped to put this event together!
