A fun introduction to gymnastics for 2.5 - 4 Year Olds

This is a parent and child session, so where necessary the parents should participate in the session with their child in order to support them around the  As a parent or carer, you are involved in helping your children around the equipment, in a fun and social environment with the gymnastics equipment suitable for this age group.  

Taking young children around an course of equipment makes them stronger and enhances their sense of balance at a young age. The strength and balance skills developed on an obstacle course transfer effectively to other sports.

*maximum of 1 children to one adult and masks must be worn by adults at all times

Further Information
  • Only 1 accompanying adult per child, permitted in the hall.
  • No siblings allowed who aren't taking part in the session.
  • When not taking part, parents should sit on the chairs provided in a socially distanced manner.
  • Masks must be worn at all times by visitors inside the sports hall.
  • Shine’s professional coaching team are qualified, DBS checked and fully insured.
Activity Details

ShineTots Gymnastics sessions take place in the friendly and safe surroundings of Shine Community Sports Hall and is the ideal introduction to gymnastics that are suitable for boys and girls of pre-school age. Children are introduced to the basic skills found in gymnastics such as;

  • Agility
  • Balance 
  • Co-ordination
