Performing Arts Club(Years 3 to 6)
A club led by our enthusiastic drama team
Southville Primary School (Junior Site)
The next Shine Performing Arts production will be an adaption of the classic story of James and the Giant Peach by Roald Dahl. Join George on a rolling adventure down the hill and meet a bizarre and fantastical bunch of people and insects.
Children will rehearse this show over two terms and perform the show in July. It is important that children fully commit to this club please so that rehearsals can run smoothly to the lead up to their performance.
Every child receives a script and the opportunity to devise and create their own dialogue and scenes with the help of their performing arts coach. There will be clumsy aunts, crocodile tongues, cheeky bugs and a giant peach! As well as many backstage roles to help organise and help ensure the show runs smoothly.
These sessions are designed to bring the very best out of everyone and unlock their potential. Building confidence, enriching imaginations, learning new skills and building friendships.
