Performing Arts Club(Years 3 to 6)
A club led by our enthusiastic drama team
Christ Church Primary School
The next Shine Performing Arts production will be an adaption of the classic story of Alice's Adventures in Wonderland by Lewis Carroll. Join Alice down the rabbit hole and meet a bizarre and fantastical bunch of people and animals.
Children will rehearse this show over two terms and perform the show at the end of the school year, in July. It is important that children fully commit to this club so that rehearsals can run smoothly to the lead up to their Performance.
Every child receives a script and the opportunity to devise and create their own dialogue and scenes with the help of their performing arts coach. There will be riddles, tea parties, caucus races, croquet games and a whole lot of nonsense! As well as many backstage roles to help organise and help ensure the show runs smoothly.
These sessions are designed to bring the very best out of everyone and unlock their potential. Building confidence, enriching imaginations, learning new skills and building friendships.

The children will have the opportunity to perform a Talent Show to showcase their favourite scenes, songs, or dances they have learnt from the club!
It is important that the children fully commit to this club by booking each week where possible, so that sessions can run smoothly to the run up to the Shine Talent Show. We look forward to seeing you there!
