Mini Gym & Cheerleading Workshop(Ages 5 to 7)
A fun and exciting day of gymnastics skills
Southville Primary School (Junior Site)
Shine's energising Cheer and Gymnastics workshop will bring out children’s confidence through the learning of both basic cheer and gymnastics skills. The vibrant workshop will be filled with elements of tumbling, dance, partner work, creativity and performance. Children will chant, roll, leap and craft their way through the day with guided support from our passionate coaches. Whether its finding that extra self-confidence or letting out some energy this is the perfect club for children to blossom.
Children must already be in school to come to Shine Holiday Clubs, we are not able to accept children who are only starting this September.
You can book your child to stay on at Shine until 5.55pm if you need extended childcare. We have 2 options:
- Late Pick Up until 4:45pm - Add on Late Pick Up when you book. Snacks are not provided but children are welcome to eat any snacks they have with them.
- Snack & Chill from 4:45pm until 5:55pm - Add on Late Pick Up AND Snack & Chill when you book. Snacks are provided in this session. This will generally be a quieter time for children after their long holiday club day.

ESSENTIAL KIT
- Clothing that is appropriate for the chosen activity ie. shorts or leggings, sticky socks
- If your hair length is long please tie it back.
- Water bottle
- Suncream must be applied before the start of the day if necessary.
- Packed lunch, drinks and snacks for the day. We request that you refrain from sending anything containing nuts to Shine please.
Activity Details
A typical Shine Gymnastics Workshop programme consists of a well organised day of gymnastics themed fun games and floor work skills. After a mid-morning break the group will focus on a range of basic apparatus with the aim to promote confidence and develop the participants skills. Children will work with experienced instructors on their core gymnastics skills including;
- Floor Work
- Vaulting
- Beam
- Rebound

- Your child/children must be signed out at the end of every day.
