Home Ed Big Creative Project(8-13 years)
A 6 week Stop Motion Animation Project
Shine Sports Hall, BS9
This NEW Creative Project is for Home-Educated Children to take part in over the course of 5 weeks. The project is designed to develop creative skills, encourage socialisation and group-work.
Guided by an experienced workshop leader, attendees will produce a short stop motion animation film using a home camera or smart phone. Every object featured in your child’s film will be designed and hand-made by them. Attendees will be encouraged to think creatively for each frame, developing their story, objects and characters. They will learn photography techniques to make the most from their objects and materials. By using their own cameras/smartphones, they will acquire the techniques to be able to re-produce stop animations at home.
Due to the developing nature of this project, we require you to book for the entire 5 weeks to ensure your child won’t miss any elements or stages.
