Girls hard ball Indoor cricket coaching provides an exciting opportunity for girls in Years 5 to 7 from beginner to intermediate level. The coaches will rotate through the core fundamental skills of cricket, learning within a fun and inclusive environment where players will develop and learn through games, activities and drills.
Cricket nets in the Sports Hall will form part of the cricket training.

- Footwear and clothing that are appropriate for the chosen activity.
- Cricket 'whites' (recommended, but not essential for training)
- Water bottle
- Girls attending this course are encouraged to bring their own kit including helmet, gloves, pads and bat but Shine do have kit if you need to borrow it for the session. Please note we do not provide a protective box.

- Please note that places are limited and bookings are made on a first come/first served basis each term.
- Shine’s professional coaching team are qualified, DBS checked and fully insured.
- This activity is available to girls from any school or existing cricket club, providing they are of the correct age group.
- Your booking is week by week and we require 6 days notice in order to receive a credit or refund.
Additional Details
The coaching programme will involve a combination of net sessions, match situations, skills drills and cricket themed exercises with an emphasis on healthy fun.
Bowling, players will develop and create an understanding of the core skills within bowling, from the preparation and run up, to the technique of bowling and different styles of bowling.
Fielding, coaches will deliver fun and enjoyable drills which will develop the players understanding of catching with correct techniques and control. Fielding techniques such as short and long barrier will be coached within fielding drills and activity. Technique of throwing, from accuracy and arm technique within fun and inclusive drills.
