This will be a fun morning of football with the Shine football coaches. Both watching and playing!
The girls will watch the Lionesses play in their World Cup fixture as they take Denmark in group stages of the competition on Friday morning. Following the match, we will head outside for skills, drills and matches.
The FA have kindly provided some funding as part of their initiative to get more girls involved in Football and so we are delighted to offer this day at a reduced price for a limited number of girls. The reduce price spaces are booked on a first come, first served basis.
Open to girls who currently play for any club.

Activity Details
Focusing on basic skills and technical work followed by small-sided football matches, so that players can put their new skills into practice!
Taking place on the sand based astro surface or the grass pitches at the Shine Sports Ground, players will be put into appropriate ability groups and have an opportunity to improve all aspects of their football experience including:
- Shooting and the basics of attacking play
- Controlling the ball with both feet
- Tackling and the basics of defensive play
- Communication and team work
- Free kicks, penalties and other set plays
- Vision and understanding the game and its laws
- Fair Play - learning to win and lose
In addition, players will get an opportunity to enjoy some soccer-themed fun games such as penalty shoot-outs, King-of-the-Ring and Robin Hood plus many more.
