Join Shine’s Forest Adventure team for an outdoor workshop that blends nature, creativity, and exploration!
Children of all ages can enjoy a day filled with fresh air, adventure, and sociable fun. From building dens and making bird feeders to trying their hand at soft archery, nature crafts, and having fun on the tyre swing, there’s something for everyone. Plus, they'll get a chance to do some forest cooking like vegetable skewers, popcorn, caramelised apples or marshmallows!
Early Drop off from 7:45am please add when adding the session dates to your basket. The children are offered breakfast of toast and cereal when arriving early.
You can book your child to stay on at Shine until 5.55pm if you need extended childcare. We have 2 options:
- Late Pick Up until 4:45pm - Add on Late Pick Up when you book. Snacks are not provided but children are welcome to eat any snacks they have with them.
- Snack & Chill from 4:45pm until 5:55pm - Add on Late Pick Up AND Snack & Chill when you book. Snacks are provided in this session. This will generally be a quieter time for children after their long holiday club day.

Activity Details
Shine's Forest Adventure is a memorable outdoor adventure experience thanks to the experienced Forest Leaders team who deliver an exciting day long programme that is an ideal choice for children who like to try new challenges. The activities will include:
- Den building - from small scale animal shelters to protection from the elements for the whole group
- Fire lighting - learn the science behind lighting a small fire in the safest way
- Cookery - cooking simple foods on the open fire (please ensure you let us know if your child has any food allergies)
- Nature trails - follow set activities to help explore the natural environment
- Minibeast hunts - meet the creatures that live on the site
- Natural crafts - use natural materials to create hand-made items that are ready to take home
- Safe archery - work with our specially trained staff to test your aim
- Whittling
- Clay modelling

- Shine’s professional team are first aid trained, DBS checked and fully insured.
- Your child/children must be signed out at the end of every day.
- Jewellery: Children are not permitted to wear any jewellery to holiday club; if ear studs cannot be removed, they must be securely covered for the duration of the session.
