Come and get creative with Shine
Elmlea Infant School
In Drawing & Painting Club, children will explore a variety of artistic media, including charcoal, graphite pencil, oil, and acrylic paints. Each session will focus on a unique theme, ranging from portraits and landscapes to abstract designs, giving them the chance to develop new skills and techniques.
Over the upcoming terms, children will create artwork inspired by seasonal and cultural events. Projects include:
- 3D Firework Art to celebrate the New Year
- Northern Lights Silhouette Art, capturing the beauty of the aurora
- Abstract Winter Tree Art with bold colours and textures
- Crayon Resist Chinese Banner Painting for Chinese New Year
- Abstract Sporting Silhouettes in honour of Girls and Women in Sports Day
- Abstract Heart Art for Valentine’s Day
These projects will help children experiment with artistic expression while learning about diverse styles and traditions!

Activity Details
The Shine Drawing & Painting Club will be guided through a range of activities each week.
Children will get the opportunity to enjoy themselves through a wide range of different activities during the term, such as:
- Charcoal
- Graphite pencil
- Oil Painting
- Acrylic painting
- & More!

- Please note our cancellation and amendment policy requires 6 days notice to receive a credit or refund.
- Please note that places are limited and bookings are made on a first-come/first-served basis.
- Shine’s staff are DBS checked, first aid trained and fully insured.
- Your child/children must be signed out at the end of every session.
- Booking is essential. If you aren't booked on the activity by 12.00 on that day, your child will not be on our register and therefore be taken back to the school office. Late bookings after 12.00 can be made by calling 01174 033 033
