Inspiring kids to get passionate about reading and writing! Join our Creative Writing Club at Shine to discover the joy of reading, writing and telling stories through games, poems, lyrics, writing prompts, story maps, classic texts, story books, and so much more. Have fun exploring ideas and getting them down on paper.
- Improve literacy skills (oral and written)
- Boost self-esteem and confidence
- Build a passion for reading
- Promote a love of writing
By the end of the school year, we’ll collect our favourite stories and poems and publish them in a Shine Creative Writing Book.

Further Information
- Please note our cancellation and amendment policy requires 6 days notice to receive a credit or refund.
- Places are limited and bookings are made on a first-come/first-served basis.
- Shine’s staff are DBS checked, first aid trained and fully insured.
- Your child/children must be signed out at the end of every session.
- Booking is essential. If you aren't booked on the activity by 12.00 on that day, your child will not be on our register and therefore be taken back to the school office. Late bookings after 12.00 can be made by calling 01174 033 033.
