Athletic Development focuses on aspects that are commonly side-lined during traditional training, however are important in becoming successful in sport and in life. These include a players strength, decision making and movement capabilities. We aim to help young people focus on these in a fun and safe environment, using challenges and games to help them reach their sporting potential.

- Please note our cancellation and amendment policy requires 6 days notice to receive a credit or refund.
- The club will only run with minimum numbers booked. We will cancel the club and credit/refund in the event the minimum numbers are not met.
- Please note that places are limited and bookings are made on a first-come/first-served basis each term.
- Shine’s professional coaching team are qualified, DBS checked and fully insured.
- Your child/children must be signed out at the end of every session.

Our Athletic Development Club aims to help young people understand a range of complex but important factors that are key to sports performance.

Why is it important?
Each sport requires basic skills to be able to be successful, eg. a football must be fast, a rugby player must be strong. Athletic development strips back the complex nature of these skills to work on the fundamental parts of the movements. We will work on sprint techniques to run faster, developing movement patterns to strengthen key positions.
