Home Ed Big Creative Project(8-13 years)
A 7 week Textiles Course
Shine Sports Hall, BS9
This NEW Creative Project is for Home-Educated Children to take part in over the course of 7 weeks. The project is designed to develop creative skills, encourage socialisation and engage children in group-work.
Guided by an experienced workshop leader, attendees learn the art of textiles. We will explore various and fun aspects of textiles, providing the opportunity to use various techniques to create their own projects such as upcycled patchwork bags, tie-dye clothing, top hats, hand-warmers, dreamcatchers and their very own set of wings. Children will be challenged to think creatively and develop their abilities in the different techniques over the duration of the course. They will have access to a wide range of materials and equipment. Everything is provided for – just show up, learn, and get CREATIVE!
Due to the developing nature of this project, we require you to book for the entire 7 weeks to ensure your child won’t miss any elements or stages.
